They are not chip timed. We do have a clock at the finishline that will allow you to calculate your finish time by knowing when your start time was.

Yes, the festival area has a lot of space and there are many spectator friendly obstacles in the last 3/4 of a mile.
We do have age group awards for top three runners in each division. These awards are only for the competitive 9am Wave.

You can but we are not responsible if it gets lost. If you are going to carry one we recommend you have a leash or make sure it is securely connected to your body.
Yes, you can change waves up to three weeks out from the event.
There are absolutely no refunds. If you are not able to make it you can transfer your bib to another runner up to three weeks out from race day. Once we get within three weeks no changes will be made.
Yes Registration will be available on race morning and we do accept Cash, Checks or Credit Card.
Yes, they will need to bring a signed waiver when they pick up the packet.
Yes, we do advise that you know how to swim. We do utilize many water obstacles and you should know how to maneuver and handle yourself in water situations. Again if you are in a fun wave and do not know how to swim we ask you skip all water obstacles for your safety. If you can’t swim do not jump in the water. Please do not put yourself, our volunteers or staff in that situation.
To receive an award in the competitive wave you need to complete all the obstacles or their penalty lap. In all Fun waves we encourage every runner to attempt all the obstacles but in the event they do not feel comfortable it is okay to skip the obstacle and continue on the course. With the proper training you can come back and conquer that obstacle next year.
Yes, all runners 21 years and above will receive one free beer once they finish the course.
In the registration process you will have the option to create a new team if you desire. You will just need to follow those steps and then you will be able to have friends and family join that team later.
You can sign up as a volunteer on our registration site.
Our Festival area has an amazing crystal clear lake that you can rinse off in when you are done. We do not have any changing areas designated on site.
You can have an unlimited amount of runners on a team. Teams are eligible to register for all waves except the competitive wave.

Yes you can transfer your registration up to three weeks out from the event.
Being a running obstacle challenge there is risk involved with participating in the race. We do our best to help racers through the course and safely to the finish. There is also Medical personnel at the course in case of an emergency. Racers participate at their OWN RISK.

Yes, there will be an award ceremony for the competitive wave racers shortly after we calculate the results once all comp runners finish.
There is no bag check or lockers on the property. All your personal belongings need to be securely left in your car or with someone you trust.
The race results are divided up into these age groups:
Racers must be 14 years old on day of race. If racer is under 18 years old a Parent or Guardian will be required to Sign the Race Waiver.
Once you have parked you will need to head to the registration tent and get your race packet. If you got your packet early you can check out the festival area and begin to warm up depending on your start time.
That’s not a problem. If you need to you can return back to the festival area. We encourage everyone to challenge themselves but do not want anyone to push beyond their abilities.

Race continues rain or shine. Just makes the course that much better. Race promoters do have the right to cancel the race or postpone start times if weather makes the course too dangerous. There are absolutely no refunds or rain dates.
Competitive Races are racing for Age Group Awards and are timed. Fun wave runners are running to have a great time and the experience and are not timed and not eligible for awards.

Wear something that you are not afraid to get dirty. Costumes are encouraged and will increase your fun factor and spectator cheers, trust us. A pair of running shoes that will protect your feet from any obstacles you are taking on.
No ipods or MP3 players, please. They will get dirty and possibly lost.
The first wave of the day is the Competitive wave which starts at 9am. The first Fun wave starts at 9:30 am and they will continue every half hour until the last open wave time has gone.
The next event is May 7, 2016.
You will receive your race packet and premium race shirt when you check in for the event either at early packet pickup the Friday before or on race morning when you arrive. Upon finishing the race you will receive your finisher Pint Glass.
